The Imaging Department at Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust prides itself in providing high quality care and we proud to be one of just 23 acute trusts in the UK who have ISAS Accreditation (Imaging Services Accreditation Scheme)
Our Imaging Department conducts 510,000 examinations per year
We work closely with a managed equipment service to ensure we have access to the latest technologies and industry innovations. We currently have 5 brand new MRI scanners, one of which is a 3T machine, and 3 CT scanners (two of which are 64 slice and include a full cardiac package).
Imaging Services across Derbyshire
We have fifteen points of service delivery comprising six satellite imaging departments. We also provide imaging services for the Ilkeston Community Hospital and its satellite centres at Ripley, Long Eaton and Ashbourne.
We have 56 imaging rooms and 19 ultrasound rooms
